Meat from our own farm and fish fresh from the boat

The restaurant is the heart of our hotel, where the focus is on hospitality, culinary pleasure and family ambience.
As your host we would like to inspire you with our culinary skill.

There is one thing we are particularly proud of and which you will probably only find here: most of our meat is sourced from our own farm. This way we always know that we are serving you only the best quality.

As we are an island hotel, you will of course find that our proximity to the water is also reflected in our menu. The fish served in our restaurant thus comes from Burgstaaken harbor, fresh off the boat.

Cod, turbot or herring are fish you typically find both in the Baltic Sea and on our menu.

Locally sourced venison

Our restaurant has yet another special feature: the venison in our venison dishes comes from the island.

The hotel’s owner Matthias Meetz regularly hunts on the Bannesdorf hunting grounds in order to offer you the meat for the delicious venison dishes. We are sure that our delicious dishes based on Fehmarn and North German cuisine will satisfy your culinary wishes!

By the way:

When the days are warmer and the first rays of sunshine appear in the morning, you can look forward to our terrace in the rose garden and the terrace in the inner garden!

And if it happens to be cold and uncomfortable on the terrace, you can still look forward to the cozy warmth of our tiled stove in the guest lounge.
